This letter shall serve as notification from the Woodley Recreation Association (WRA) Board of Directors that we will be convening a meeting on disciplinary actions stemming from an incident that took place on July 13th at the Woodley Mini Meet while serving as a deck official.
The meeting is scheduled for tonight, July 15th at 9PM via Google Meet. If you wish to attend the beginning of the meeting to present your side of the incident, please email me and I will provide the link. If you would like to provide a written statement on the incident, please email it to me prior to 9PM this evening.

Dear Mr. Fernandez,
This letter is to notify you that your membership to Woodley Pool has been suspended by the Woodley Recreation Association (WRA) Board of Directors. The suspension of your membership is effective immediately and applies only to yourself, no other members on the account are affected. This action remains in effect until the end of the 2025 pool season. Entrance onto Woodley property is strictly prohibited, including as a guest of another member, unless done with the written consent of the WRA Board of Directors. This suspension applies to events sponsored by or participated in by Woodley Pool, such as swim and dive meets occurring at other pools.
In addition, you will not be allowed to attend future Woodley Mini Meets unless you seek and are granted written consent from the WRA Board of Directors.
The suspension is due to violations of WRA rules and the WRA abuse policy on July 13th, 2025. We regret the circumstances leading to this decision and assure you it was not taken lightly. Nevertheless, the Board determined this action is necessary to protect the interests of all WRA shareholders, members, and the broader Woodley community, and to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all.
